Our mission is for every person in South Texas to find and grow their potential as an entrepreneur. We do it through partners, hands-on support, and education, so a business of any size can start and last.
Entrepreneurs need skills and fair access to support to create jobs, raise capital, and bring a product to market. At the eBridge Center, we focus on the people first. Giving them a space where they can work comfortably, a team that can support their growth, and a network of partners that can help them scale beyond Brownsville and the Rio Grande Valley.
This center is only possible thanks to the partnership between the Brownsville Community Improvement Corporation, the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley Entrepreneurship & Commercialization Center, the City of Brownsville, the United States Economic Development Administration, the Lower Rio Grande Valley Development Council, and all our contributing partners.
The eBridge Center includes an InBIA soft landing designation, business incubation programming by UTRGV ECC, a U.S. Patent Trade Resource Center, the Small Business Development Center, the Texas Manufacturing Assistance Center, Procurement Technical Assistance Center, Veterans Business Outreach Center, Nonprofit Resource Center, the Blueprint Lab Prototyping Space for research and development of emerging industries, training space for up to 60 and two training rooms for up to 24, dedicated desks and private offices, and home to the Startup Texas Accelerator Program.

Success Stories
We’ve received seed funding through BCIC’s Startup Texas program in 2019 as well as assistance through the eBridge Fund to continue to scale our operations. BCIC has and continues to support our journey as entrepreneurs. As a small business it’s important to rely on the community, and BCIC is an incredible resource no matter what stage your company is in.
